Casual elegance best describes this kitchen’s light gray custom cabinetry, pure white quartz countertops and satin brass hardware and accents. The swooped range hood and the large crown molding are elements of traditional styling, but we added a contemporary twist by using updated materials such as the gleaming glass backsplash and the striking satin brass faucet. The light white oak flooring is the perfect foundation. In the laundry room, we used complementary dark slate cabinetry and satin brass hardware, with playful black and white checkered floor. The study nook is also lined with custom white cabinetry which contrasts beautifully with the black windows they surround. In the adjoining mud room, we incorporated custom dog crates or the owners’ furry friends.
